pimp my profile. They have top friend things you can put on your page but won't show links. It is only pictures. Look under "friendsters" and it will guide you. Lower on the page to the left.
Once you start, open a new window with your myspace home page so you can right click on your friends pictures and get the "location" copy and paste it on your friendster layout. and there you go

well the only way you can do that is to have firefox browser. And when you do have it go to view scroll down to page style and then choose no style. I have been looking for a code to hide the advertizements at the top of a myspace profile for three days now. I know that it is against myspace rules but its not for me so i really could care less. hiding the advertising is against the myspace terms of service - this is clearly stated in the terms of service and on the page you use to edit your profile
however, you can hide them from EVERY site on YOUR computer only if you want.... that's what I do...

OK.. when you are at photobucket and looking at the photo, you will see a few html codes either under or to the right of your picture. Cope the the one that says "share HTML tag" and then pase that into the body of your myspace profile page. You can place it in any of the myspace profile boxes, depending on where in the page you want this banner displayed.

I've seen people put their own lines into a box at the top of their myspace profile. I think they type it where the "user is in your extended network" box is, since the box isn't there for them, and they're located in the same spot. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks :)

Well, depending on the number of friends you have, you can't. However, you can put up to 40 on there and here's how.
Step 1: Go to http://www.myspace.com
Step 2: Enter your e-mail address and password
Step 3: Hit "Log In"
Step 4: Scroll down until you see your top 4 and in the bottom left corner of that box should be a link that says "Change My Top Friends". click on that.
Step 5: There's a drag down bar on the left side of the screen and drag that down to 40.
Step 6: Rearrange your friends in whatever order you want.
ALL of them?

click edit friends and you can pick who you want in the top and how many people

You'll need to find out what the original size of the graphic is ..I am guessing 100 by 100 or 75 by 75. cut or edit your friends down to that side, host them... on photosite...like photobucket and then put the urls back.

In the image tag add:
style="float: left"
That will force it to float to the left, and will move everything else out of the way for it. align="left" is overwritten if the style sheet has a float: right; in it. So, even if you put align="left", that deprecated code might be being overwritten by a stylesheet. That inline style will overwrite the external style sheet.
so, you'll have %26lt;img src="somefile.jpg" style="float:left;" /%26gt; and that will do the trick.

ok, i use myspace all day and i don't know what a "myspace top" is. what are you asking?
It all depends on your personal preference.
I've seen codes for placing one on top, and also side by side, but I have multiple pics I want to place probably 40 or 50 and I want to set up myself instead of myspace placing them randomly anywhere or on top like a ladder.
you can do a lot of you know html, I would do a search for basic html or pick up a book on it.
for example, %26lt;br%26gt; and %26lt;p%26gt; puts a break in between whatever you have before and after it.

If you have a program like Photoshop you can resize your photo in that type of program but often times lose picture quality when you do that. You could try photobucket and try to resize the image there as well.
Find a website that resizes photos, by google searching or download one on a site like this one: http://www.aspupload.com/aspjpeg.html. Thats how I've always done it.

Part 2: Ok lOlZ! Sorry but i have like 2 more questions. How do you assign a certain color to your myspace profile...lol like u know how u get a layout from a website...and when u type sumthing in a table or sumthin and a certain color comes up like pink or sumthin.
3. Ok finally, this is my last question!!! How do you make little color bars on the tops of myspace tables...like on the(blah's blurbs) on that there is a color or sumthing...i got help with this before but it was like too big...i want it to be in the middle of the words not like on the words and covering the whole top of the table. AND!...SORRY! how do you make a picture ur hover when u go over crap on your page...like flashy colors or sumthin and when i scroll over links or pics it flashes

When you log in to myspace you'll see above your friend subscriptions a box that's titled "myspace links" Click on profile editor and you'll be able to all that stuff. Everything your asking about you should be able to do with the editor. If you want like layout pages already made. Then search for myspace layouts on your Internet search engine then copy and paste the code in your 'about me' section. hope this helps.
